Course Details

Classroom training courses cater to all skill levels from beginner up to advanced and cover the various modules that make up Databuild. As new functionality in included in Databuild, we aim to have the most up to date versions available for each course.

Estimating – Introductory (E1001)

This course is aimed at those who are new to Databuild, or would like to go back and solidify current knowledge from the very start. Areas of focus include basic setup, bill of quantities and purchase orders in order to provide participants with the information necessary to set up and perform basic estimating functions which include setup, the creation of catalogue items, bill of quantity, understanding variations, basic rtf layouts, cost centres for estimating and purchase orders using the Databuild system.

 

Estimating – Intermediate (E2001)

This course is aimed at those who have previously undertaken the Introductory Estimating course, or those who feel comfortable using the basics of Databuild. Areas of focus include the use of supplier pricing features, basic recipes, copy quantities, text variables, archiving, advanced bill of quantities, and quantity generators within the Databuild system.

 

Estimating – Advanced (E3001)

This course is aimed at those advanced users who have previously undertaken the Intermediate course, or who feel their level of skill is currently at that level. Areas of focus include the use of catalogue specification and advanced recipe generation, supplier pricing link transfer, macros, workup routines, global quantities and bill of quantity reports.

 

Accounting – Setup & Start-up (A1001)

This course is aimed at those who are new to Databuild, or would like to go back and solidify current knowledge from the very start. It provides a good overview of the Databuild Accounting module. Areas of focus include General Ledger setup and controls, bank setup, cost centres for accounts, quick entry of suppliers, invoicing & payments, foundation job and debtors, and a basic introduction to claims, receipts and the audit trail, journals and finalising opening balance procedures.

 

Accounting – Processing (A2001)

This course is aimed at those who have previously undertaken the Setup and Start-up course, or those who feel comfortable using the basics of Databuild Accounting. Areas of focus include how to enter daily transactions such as invoicing and advanced payments claims and receipts and timesheets, supplier and jobs and debtor basics, variations, bank transfer and RTF layouts.

 

Accounting – Advanced Posting and End of Period (A3001)

This course is aimed at those advanced users who are looking for the information necessary to perform advanced posting and end of period processing including deductions, run bank ledger and subsidiary reports, GST reports and processing, audit trail basics, journals stock, EFT payments, claim calculator, bank reconciliation & balancing financial reports, BAS and end of year roll over
